Terms and Conditions for Paid Services

Effective Date of Terms and Conditions for Paid Services: 2021-08-02
Article 1 [Purpose]

The purpose of these terms is to stipulate the rights, obligations, and responsibilities of the company and the users in using the wired and wireless internet-related services provided by Teitomi Co., Ltd., as well as other necessary matters.

Article 2 [Definitions]

The definitions of the terms used in these terms are as follows:
1. Termination: Refers to the act of the company or the member terminating the service contract after the service has been opened.
2. Paid Services: Refers to the company’s services or products that a member can only use by paying a certain amount to the company, or services or products that are used in exchange for accepting the terms of a transaction or agreement with the company or a third party. The details of the paid services are explained in detail on the purchase page for each service or product and the payment page for the relevant service or product and are based on the information provided.
3. Payment: Refers to the act of paying a certain amount to the company or to a third party designated by the company through various payment methods to use the paid services provided by the company.
4. Purchase: Refers to the act in which the member pays the price of the paid service they wish to use by selecting the paid service and making the payment through the payment method to enable the company to approve the use of the paid service.
5. Scan: Refers to the cloud configuration error detection service provided to the member by the company.

Article 3 [Posting Content of Paid Services]

① The company shall display the following information clearly on the initial screen or packaging of the paid service for the members to understand easily.
1. Name or title of the paid service
2. Date of production and display of the paid service
3. Name (corporate name in case of a corporation), address, phone number of the producer of the paid service
4. Content, usage method, usage fee, and other usage conditions of the paid service
② The company shall provide information about the available devices and minimum required technical specifications necessary for use during the contract process to the members.

Article 4 [Establishment of Use Contract, etc.]

① Members apply for use through the following or similar procedures provided by the company. The company provides information to ensure that members understand each item accurately and can conduct transactions without mistakes or misunderstandings before the contract is concluded.
1. Confirmation and selection of paid services
2. Selection of payment method and input of payment information
3. Confirmation of application for use of paid services or consent to the company’s confirmation
② The company may refuse or withhold acceptance of the member's application in the following cases.
1. If the real name is not used or if another person’s name is used
2. If false information is provided or if the information required by the company is not provided
3. If there are no available service-related facilities or if there are technical or business issues
③ The time of establishment of the use contract shall be the point indicated as "Membership Completed" or "Purchase Completed" during the application process.
④ To use the paid service, the "member" must agree to these terms and pay the usage fees according to the usage conditions for each service.

Article 5 [Paid Services and Scope]

① The types of paid services provided to members by the company are as follows.
1. Classification by service attributes
a. Unlimited Scan Service: A service that allows unlimited scanning during the specified period
b. Limited Scan Service: A service that allows a limited number of scans during the specified period
2. Classification by automatic payment
a. Subscription Product: A product that can be used only for the period the member wishes to use the scanning service
b. Automatic Payment Product: If the member using the service applies to pay the fees for the use of the paid service regularly, the usage fees for the paid service will be automatically charged on the specified payment date and method.
① The types of paid services provided to members by the company are as follows.
1. Cloud Infrastructure Scan Service
2. Other services provided by the company
② The provided services may vary in policy according to the scale and delivery method of the service. The company can obtain additional notification and consent from members through subscription guidance or pop-up guidance when subscribing to subscription products, and in the event of refund requests due to regional restrictions or utilization limitations after consent, it will follow the standards of Article 11 (Refund Policy). In this case, the company must continue to provide services for the remaining period of services already utilized by the member through payment, but if it is unavoidable due to external conditions such as contracts with other companies, the company will calculate and refund a proportion of the remaining period for the entire duration. The confirmation of whether the member subscribes from overseas will be done through procedures such as checking the IP address or confirming the member's identity.

Article 6 [Payment Method]

The method of payment for the use of paid services can be made by any of the following methods. However, the company does not charge any fees in any form for the payment method of the member.
1. Various account transfers such as phone banking, internet banking, mail banking
2. Various card payments such as prepaid cards, debit cards, credit cards
3. Online non-bank deposit
4. Payment by electronic currency
5. Payment by points provided by the company such as mileage
6. Payment by gift certificates that the company has contracted with or recognized
7. Payments made by phone or mobile phone
8. Other electronic payment methods

Article 7 [Automatic Payment and Termination]

① The company may retain the payment-related information of members for a certain period of time to automatically renew the service use contract and charge usage fees every month.
② If the member has requested for automatic payment and has not submitted a separate termination request, the automatic billing and payment will occur on the designated payment date and method every month, regardless of whether the paid service is actually used. (The number of service days is calculated from the day following the initial payment)
③ The expiration date due to automatic payment termination is one month from the automatic payment date. Upon termination of automatic payment, members can use the service for one month from the regular payment date.
④ Using another’s payment information without consent will result in civil/criminal liability and may be punished by applicable laws.
⑤ If regular payment is not made due to changes in payment information, loss of credit or mobile phones, or other reasons, service use will automatically stop after one month from the last regular payment date.
⑥ The company is not responsible for damages due to service suspension resulting from the member's failure to pay usage fees.

Article 8 [Member's Right to Withdraw Application and Cancel Payment]

① Members who have entered into a contract regarding the use of paid services with the company can withdraw their application within seven days from the day they receive confirmation of receipt. However, if the company has taken any of the following actions, the member's right to withdraw their application may be limited.
1. If 1 or more scans have been completed after payment
2. If the member is using the service free of charge through promotions or similar means without incurring any costs themselves
② The withdrawal of application in paragraph 1 is effective when the member expresses their intention to the company by phone, email, or fax.
③ The company will promptly confirm the fact of the member's declaration of withdrawal of application in accordance with paragraph 1.
④ If the member has withdrawn their application, they can request cancellation of payment to the company through the respective payment method they have chosen. However, cancellation of payment is not possible in the following cases.
1. When payment methods such as event rewards, coupons, bonuses are provided for free
2. When there are usage records within the applicable period
3. When the cancellation period according to the respective payment method has expired
⑤ In the case of paid services paid using a payment method where cancellation of payment is not possible (such as bank transfers), only refund processing is possible according to Article 11 of these terms.

Article 9 [Member's Contract Termination/End]

① The company shall refund the payment in the same manner as the payment method used by the member, within three business days from the date the member signals their intention to withdraw the application or the date the company responds to the member's intention to terminate or end the contract. If it is impossible to refund in the same manner, advance notice shall be given.
② In cases where the company refunds according to paragraph 1, it may deduct the amount corresponding to the benefits obtained by the member from the use of the service.
③ When refunding this payment, if the member has paid using a credit card or electronic currency, the company will promptly request the business responsible for the payment method to stop or cancel the charge for the payment. However, if amount deductions as per paragraph 2 are needed, this omission can be made.
